Where can I buy tickets?
All tickets for this event are sold via Eventbrite HERE. Eventbrite is the only authorised seller of tickets to this event. Drag Expo advises caution when purchasing tickets through unauthorised sellers or third parties such as Viagogo, StubHub, Ebay or Gumtree online auctions. These company are onsellers of tickets and may sell tickets at an inflated price. Some dishonest sellers may also sell the same tickets multiple times meaning you will not be able to enter the Venue for your event. Drag Expo, In The Dark, Eventbrite or the venue are not able to verify if your tickets are legitimate as they have not been purchased through the official ticketing agent.

I’ve bought my ticket on Eventbrite, how do I get in to the event?
We’ll be providing more information regarding how registration will work a bit closer to the event. Stay tuned!

Can I come in drag or dressed up?
You sure can! We encourage it! Coming in drag or dressing up as your authentic self adds to the atmosphere of the weekend. Remember though, you’ll be on your feel all day, so think carefully before you put on those 6 inch stilettos, perhaps slip a pair of cheeky flats in your purse for later.

What queens will be appearing?
We’re bringing your favourite queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race out for this event as well as showcasing the best in Australian talent! You’ll have the opportunity to purchase a ticket for a guaranteed meet and greet and the queens will also be appearing at their own booths throughout the day. Most queens will ask that you purchase something from their booth before you have an opportunity to meet with them, so make sure you’re prepared for this.

We’re working on delivering an accomodation booking solution for you with a variety of different options for finding yourself a place to glam yourself up and take off your lashes at the end of the day! Once this system is available, we’ll send out a communication so that you can make your bookings, so stay tuned!

Can I make card payments at Drag Expo?
Each booth will be responsible for their own payment methods, some may take card payments, but you should be prepared to pay in cash in most cases. Make sure you prepare for this ahead of time as there will be limited ATMs within the convention centre and a lot of people trying to cash up!

Children at DragExpo
Children under 10 are free to attend with a ticket holding adult (1 child per adult ticket), but will require an U10 ticket. Children who we determine are older than 10 holding an U10 ticket or children not accompanying a ticketed adult will be refused entry. Entry hours for the U10 ticket will match the accompanying adult ticket.

Is there an official opening party?
There sure is! In 2021, we’ll be hosting The Drag Expo Gala in the beautiful Plenary Theatre at the MCEC as our fabulous opening party. Tickets are on sale now, snatch yours HERE.
